 2025 Pelham Farmers Market Application

Welcome to the Pelham Farmers Market! 

Market Days: Thursdays from May 1, 2025 - October 9, 2025 
Market Hours: 4:00 PM to dusk 
Market Location: Municipal Parking Lot at 20 Pelham Town Square

The Pelham Farmers Market is an outdoor, open-air market location in the Town of Pelham. The market features Pelham's best produce - the food is fresh, high in quality and the next best thing to harvesting it yourself. 

Applications will be received until March 1, 2025. 

Successful vendors will be notified by March 24, 2025. 

Note: the Pelham Farmers Market reserves the right to limit or restrict the products sold at the Pelham Farmers Market. Vendors may not allocate or sublet portions of their space to other growers for the purpose of selling goods, without express consent from the Pelham Farmers' Market Committee. 

Market Attendance

Vendors are expected to arrive for set up a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the market opening. If vendors arrive after 3:45pm without giving notice to the market clerk, their table will be reallocated or removed without reimbursement. Vendors should be ready to sell at 4:00pm.

Please use the dedicated entrances and exits for loading. Market will run from 4:00pm - Dusk every Thursday.  Vendors must keep their booths open for the entire duration of the Market. Tear down will begin at the discretion of the Market Clerk, Town Staff and/or Market Executive. 

Payment

Vendors who wish to purchase seasonal spaces are required to pay, in full, on or prior to April 1, 2025. Payment can be made by: cheque, cash or e-transfer. Cheques are made payable to the Pelham Farmers Market or e-transfer: Pelhamfarmersmarket2003@gmail.com

Casual vendors must pay, in full, on the market day they attend. Payment can be made by: cheque, cash or e-transfer.

If a Town of Pelham vendor licence is required, proof for this licence must be presented to a member of the Pelham Farmers Market executive prior to the first market day they attend. More information on the Town of Pelham vendor licence can be found at www.pelham.ca/vendor

I / we acknowledge and I / we shall be responsible for our actions of all those allowed or invited to the facility while we are entitled to use it, and I / we hereby release the Town of Pelham, its agents and employees from all manner of action, causes of action, suits, losses, damages or injuries caused by negligence or otherwise, (whether brought by me / us or any other person) arising out of my use of the facility and I / we also hereby indemnify the said Town, its employees or agents for any losses or damages sustained by me / us or any other person as a result of such actions or proceedings being commenced against them by myself / ourselves of any other such person. The Pelham Farmers Market is not liable of any broken, damaged or stolen goods.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS: Each vendor with a commercial store front must be covered by a liability insurance policy in the amount of $2 million for non-food vendors  and $3 million for food/alcohol vendors and provide the Pelham Farmers Market with a Certificate of Insurance naming the "Town of Pelham" as an additional insured with 30 days’ notice of cancellation or non-renewal. If you do not currently have such coverage, please check with your insurance provider.
