Town of Pelham's 'Love My Neighbourhood' Event Request Form

Love My Neighbourhood is a community-building initiative aimed at empowering Pelham residents to host inclusive, neighbourhood-led events in local parks and shared spaces. The program seeks to foster stronger community connections by offering support, guidance, and funding to assist residents in organizing small-scale, hyper-local gatherings that unite neighbours.

This program is open to all Pelham residents.

The event must:

Be held in person
Be free of any entry charges
Be open to everyone in a defined neighbourhood, community or street
Be designed to foster neighbour-to-neighbour connection
Be held between 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. for up to 3 hours

The event must not:

Involve or permit alcohol or drug use
Include activities or equipment that damage Town property
Have bouncy castles, trampolines, dunk tanks or fireworks
Contravene any Town By-law

Application Requirements:

Application must be submitted at least 3-4 weeks before the event
Define your neighbourhood space to be used (park, street, etc.)
Describe the purpose and nature of your event
Indicate support needed from the Town
Indicate intended use of Pelham Bucks
Agree to provide liability insurance coverage for the event and the Town
Note: You can purchase liability insurance through the Town using Pelham Bucks

Pelham Bucks Usage:

Redeemable at participating Pelham businesses
Can be further used to:
- Purchase liability insurance through the Town of Pelham
